Welcome to the Official PLP-Quest Website
The Physical Literacy Profile Questionnaire (PLP-Quest) is a validated instrument designed to profile and measure physical literacy levels in children, adolescents, and young adults (aged 6–21 years) with physical, neuromotor, and cognitive disabilities.
What is the PLP-Quest?
Physical literacy is a fundamental concept for the holistic development of individuals with disabilities, encompassing physical, social, psychological, and cognitive capacities. The PLP-Quest was developed to address the need for comprehensive assessment methods in the literature, enabling healthcare and education professionals to identify strengths, plan individualized interventions, and monitor progress in participation in physical activity, sports, and recreational activities over time.
Who is it for?
The instrument has been validated for use with children, adolescents, and young adults with a range of conditions, including cerebral palsy, autism spectrum disorder, and other disabilities.
The PLP-Quest can be administered by any healthcare or education professional involved in the rehabilitation or developmental support of this population across various settings, including clinics, schools, and community organizations.
